Jeepers Creepers from 2001 was really original. For example, there’s the party boys/girls, the smart ones, the creeper hillbilly, etc. So many horror films are made each year and too many of them follow predictable tropes. Are we supposed to believe that those two have no instinct for when they're in danger?Īnnoying beyond belief. I'm wrung out and hoarse from yelling "get in the car!!!" to the frozen dummies. I especially HATE when someone is trying to tell the protagonists something important but for some reason they've gone deaf and just keep screaming "what are you taking about?!!! Ugh. In between it's just the two of them standing around blank faced like they've got all the time in the world. She didn't get that the choice is not Derry or her, but let's kill this mofo. From the first 5 minutes when they stop the car to gawk at the 'man' who is clearly throwing bodies down a drainage pipe to the end when he's got Derry but the calvary arrives in the form of 15 riot police with big guns - and what does Princess do? She steps right in between the monster and the cops. However, this time around I couldn't stand it.
I won't sit still for a creature feature but this one was different. It was such an original idea for a monster.
